NASA’s Range Safety (NRS) Program released its annual report earlier this year. The report, funded by NASA Headquarters, provides an NRS overview for current and potential range users.

Goddard Space Flight Center’s annual Safety Awareness Campaign presentations will be shared with the agency via webcast. Employees from all centers are invited to tune in to learn about fire safety as well as personal and workplace safety.

NASA’s Office of Safety and Mission Assurance held benchmarking visits last fall with two of its prime contractors, The Boeing Company and Aerojet Rocketdyne, to learn about techniques and practices that have proven successful for assuring quality.

The University of Connecticut has released a paper on detecting and avoiding counterfeit integrated circuits, published in the Journal of Electronic Testing: Theory and Applications. The paper has valuable information for NASA and the space community.
