On Feb. 17-18, Goddard Space Flight Center hosted its second Model-Based Engineering (MBE) workshop, which included an overview of MBE’s mission assurance counterpart, Model-Based Mission Assurance.

NASA’s Office of Safety and Mission Assurance held a quality benchmarking visit at Ball Aerospace and Technologies Corp. in Boulder, Colorado, Sept. 23. It was the third in a series of benchmarking meetings intended to enhance quality across NASA and the space industry.

On Aug. 6, Dr. Homayoon Dezfuli, NASA System Safety fellow, presented the paper, “The Evolution of System Safety at NASA,” at the International System Safety Training Symposium 2014 in St. Louis, Missouri.
